Time management: 50/50
Agree on the time span of the meeting. Start with one language, set an alarm clock and switch once the time is over. Of course you are free to determine when you change, but it is good to have something to keep track of time to make sure that you each have time to practice.
Language proficiency
Make sure you are both aware of your language proficiency. You can ask each other, but you could also do a language proficiency test.
Keep it playful
It is fine to correct grammar, but keep in mind that conversing and understanding is the main focus. Have fun!
